Looking for a unique experience this summer?
Representatives from the College at Brockport’s International Education Department will be available to speak with students regarding Study Abroad opportunities, including Brockport’s summer 2011 programs.
The College at Brockport program highlights for summer 2011:
Australia/Fiji: a unique study abroad program in South Australia and Fiji. This program explores dynamic cultures and natural environments by traveling extensively as a group. The Fiji portion of the trip is optional, so students will receive either 3 or 6 credits (6 if the student chooses to go to Fiji).
Chile: a brand new summer program at Universidad Viña del Mar is a fully accredited university, nestled in the quaint, beautiful city of Viña del Mar, known for its beaches and Mediterranean climate. Students will receive six credits of Spanish language. Courses in other disciplines may also be available.
The Netherlands: Brockport's Summer program in Amsterdam, The Netherlands is a faculty-led tour which integrates two courses: "Intro to Sociology" and "Digital Photography." The program emphasizes the documentation of culture through photography, writing and observations.
Poland: Experiencing the New Europe is a three-week international summer program that combines classroom study with on-site experiential learning to explore cultural, political and economic transformation in an urban context.
