Laurence Feasel, professor of law and criminal justice, history and political science, was recently elected president of the Law Enforcement Training Directors Association of New York State.

During his two-year term, Feasel will head up the organization that represents the professional needs and concerns of 235 law enforcement trainers and administrators from across the state who work primarily in police academies. The organization sponsors three statewide meetings for its membership each year. Feasel will also represent the association at meetings of the New York State Bureau of Municipal Police.
