Welcome These New Employees


Our welcome of new employees continues:

Stacey Lautenslager is an instructor in the Office and Computer Programs Department.  Stacey earned a M.S. from Nazareth College and B.S. from Siena College.  She has been an adjunct in the department for eight years and her teaching background includes Nazareth College, Finger Lakes Community College and Bryant and Stratton as well as Rush-Henrietta High School. 

Robert Leopard is an instructor in the Biology Department.  Robert earned a M.B.A. at the University of Rochester and an M.S. and B.A. from Eastern Michigan University.  Robert has taught several courses as an MCC adjunct as well as at Finger Lakes Community College and Cayuga College. 

Judith Lopez is a technical assistant in the Nursing Learning Resource Center.  Judy earned her LPN from the Catherine McAuley School of Practical Nursing and has been working for the department as a part-time technical assistant since 2001.  Judy also has been working at the Monroe Community Hospital as a charge nurse. 

Jenny Lorenz is the secretary in the Nursing Department.  Jenny attended SUNY Fredonia where she studied Music Education.  She previously held a temporary position with ETS and her previous experience includes many years as a congressional aide in Louise Slaughter’s office.  Jenny also has experience as a catering manager and an events coordinator on the Rochester Fast Ferry.

Joseph Marchese is finance manager for the Monroe Community College Association, Inc.  Joe comes to us from Bonadio & Company where he worked as the audit manager for the not-for-profit division.  Joe is a certified public accountant. He earned his B.S. in accounting from SUNY Geneseo.

Douglas Martin was hired last September as a light laborer in our Building Services Department.  Prior to coming to MCC, he worked at One Source Cleaning.

Ivan Matthew is a career counselor for the Damon City Campus.   He has a master’s degree in social work from SUNY College at Buffalo and a B.S. in business economics from SUNY College at Oneonta. Ivan was most recently employed full-time as a program manager at the Catholic Family Center. Ivan has taught as an adjunct in the Human Services Department at DCC since 2002.

Teresa Miller is a student accounts representative in Student Services at the Damon City Campus. She earned her B.S. in accounting from St. John Fisher and her A.A.S. in business from MCC. Teresa most recently worked for Greece Central School District as an account clerk typist in the Benefits Office.

Manuel Mindez  is a light laborer in the Building Services Department.  Manual is from Cuba where he studied electrical engineering at the University Central Las Villas.  He is studying English as a second language at MCC.

Scott Moore  is a light laborer in our Building Services Department.  Before coming to MCC, he owned his own carpet cleaning business.
