Cast off with the Chemistry/Geosciences Department aboard the William Scandling research vessel on Seneca Lake …THIS FRIDAY!
Once on the water, we will sample the lake environment to study its biologic, chemical, and geologic properties (no prior science experience required).
The purpose of this trip is to:
(1) inspire you to connect students to their local environment.
(2) provide you with examples of how field methods can be applied in the classroom.
(3) build positive relationships with coworkers.
