If your weekend itinerary includes Scholars’ Day, the MCC Foundation’s Gold Star Gala, an MCC baseball or softball game, walking with the MCC Heart Walk team at the Blue Cross Arena, or a Saturday class, please be aware that planned bridge work will take place this weekend in the area of the 490/590 interchange in Rochester.
Access from Route 590 south to I-490 in both eastbound and westbound directions will be restricted from Friday, April 24 at 9:00 p.m. through Sunday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. A detour will be posted directing traffic to continue along Route 590 south to Elmwood Avenue (Exit #3) and re-enter Route 590 northbound to access I-490 east or west. Electronic message boards will display closure information.
