Sunday January 25th, the Guon Child Care Center accepted a donation of $25,233.63 from the First Unitarian Church of Rochester’s Greater Good Project. The Guon Child Care Center, along with Teen Empowerment, were selected by the children in the church’s religious education program to be recipients. Children in the church agree to cut in half what they would receive for the holidays and donate it to the Greater Good. The gift to the Guon Child Care Center will be used to increase the time the center’s behavioral consultant/social worker is available at the center to support our children and families.
