RTS Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) Updates and Reminders

The RTS Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) is in week two of implementation. Over 900 students utilize the service in week one-over 4000 trips were recorded! Below are a few tips and reminders to help students enjoy the ride with RTS this semester!

  • Route 5 from the transit center to the Downtown Campus only operates when classes are in session.
    • There are several bus routes that operate from the transit center down State Street and offer an alternate route to the Downtown Campus when bus 5 is not in operation.
    • Go to www.myRTS.com for a complete list of RTS bus schedules or to plan your trip- anytime, any where in the RTS service area.
  • Students must have an eligible MCC ID to ride RTS fare-free.
    • Students who take completely online classes or attend classes only at PSTF are ineligible for the U-Pass.
    • MCC employees are ineligible for the U-Pass
  • All RTS routes are open to the public and can be accessed for $1.00 per ride
