MCC Foundation Hosts 25th Annual Scholarship Open

The Monroe Community College Foundation will host its 25th annual Scholarship Open on Monday, July 13, at Monroe Golf Club. The Scholarship Open is one of the leading fundraisers for the MCC Foundation -- providing a rewarding opportunity to impact student lives in our community. Tournament proceeds support student scholarships and educational excellence at MCC.

Jack Cannon, CEO of Cannon Industries Inc., and Brian McMahon, vice president manufacturing for MWI Inc., serve as chairs of the tournament. Both are directors on the MCC Foundation Board.

The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. Food and beverages will be served throughout the day. Silent auction, dinner buffet, scholarship call and awards will be held immediately following the tournament. Participants may choose from a variety of tee-gift packages from Calloway® Golf or select a Callaway gift card to redeem online.

As in previous years, the tournament is expected to sell out. Foursomes are available for those who act quickly. The cost to play is $600 per person; $2,400 per foursome. For reservations and information, please contact the MCC Foundation at x1500. The registration deadline is Friday, June 26.
