First Fridays celebrates the arts!


First join us on Friday, March 6 at J. B. Quimby’s for socializing and then on to the Mercer Gallery for the opening of Herstory from 7pm to 9pm.  In conjunction with Women’s History Month, the gallery will exhibit pieces by, of and about women in temporary culture.  Regular Gallery hours are M-F 10am-5pm and Tues-Thurs 5pm-7pm.

J.B. Quimby’s is located in the Win-Jeff Plaza on Winton Road, between Jefferson Road and Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road. 

First Fridays is also celebrating a folk art exhibit at the Arts Council – Nowruz: Persian New Year, which is curated by Shahin Monshipour and MCC Students. Visit the Arts & Cultural Council Gallery for Nowruz: Persian New Year a Folk Arts Exhibit. Opening Reception: Friday, March 6, 5:00 - 8:00 pm.  With Special Reception: Thursday, March 12, 5:00 - 8:00 pm Grand Celebration Night: Thursday, March 19, 5:00 - 8:00 pm Regular Gallery hours are 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
