Experience America’s Memorial to Holocaust Victims over Spring Break

Members and supporters of the Holocaust Genocide Studies Project at MCC encourage you to join them on their annual trip to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on April 12-15, 2004.

Located adjacent to the National Mall in Washington, D.C., the museum is America's national institution for the documentation, study, and interpretation of Holocaust history, and serves as this country’s memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust. In addition to the exhibits, the group will have private lecture and discussion opportunities with museum experts.

This year’s trip costs $300 per person and includes transportation by van or bus, hotel with double occupancy, admission to the museum and a ticket to a theatrical performance.

For more information and/or an itinerary for the trip, please call x3321. Registration and complete payment is due by Friday, March 12 to the Campus Center Information Desk (cash, money order and credit card accepted). Scholarships are available for MCC students.

To learn more about the museum and its exhibits, such as the current special exhibit “Life in Shadows: Hidden Children and the Holocaust,” please visit www.ushmm.org.
