Meet "Maya" Tomorrow and Wish Dr. Young a Happy Birthday!

Please plan to attend the unveiling and dedication of “Maya,” an inspiring, original work of art created by local artist Cheryl Olney, tomorrow, September 29 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm at Java’s Coffee Bar (first floor, Peter A. Spina Administration Building). The MCC Diversity Council selected “Maya” to promote diversity and inclusiveness throughout MCC and highlight the success of the Alice Holloway Young, Ed.D. Power of Diversity Series. The sculpture was made possible by a strategic planning grant.

The reception will also provide an opportunity to wish our special guest, Board Chair Emerita Alice Holloway Young, Ed.D., a happy 86th birthday!

This event is brought to you by the Monroe Community College Diversity Council and members of the Direction Five: Enhancing our Physical Environment committee.
