Shelley Fess Appointed NLN Ambassador


Shelley Fess, Instructor of Nursing, has been appointed MCC’s first NLN Ambassador.  The National League for Nursing Ambassador Program was established in 2006.  The initiative is intended to assist the nursing education community advance excellence and transform nursing education through continued communication and involvement with the NLN.  Ambassadors will help colleagues inform the NLN of emerging trends, issues and concerns and they will help direct the organization’s future programming, position statement, research, and new initiatives.  There are now 560 Ambassadors throughout the country and world.
