The MCC Libraries have a growing collection of research help tools to enhance student learning and assist in completion of course assignments. Here is a preview of what we have to offer:
· Do your students struggle with research paper assignments? If so, MCC Libraries Research Paper Calculator tool may provide the direction they need! The tool breaks down the research process into manageable steps, includes links to web-based “how to” guides, and provides a target date for completion in order to meet the assignment deadline.
· Our Library Moments video tutorials explain how to search the library catalog to locate books available in our collection, how to navigate the library web page, use our Libguide library research guides, and much more!
· Our Getting Started with Research Libguide provides assistance in searching for books, articles, and other materials available in our collections. From there, don’t forget to check out the more than 70 other Libguides published by MCC Librarians on topics ranging from citation styles to website evaluation.
· The Ask Us 24/7 virtual chat reference service provides the opportunity to get online research help directly from a librarian 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.
