Rock n Roll Revue 2008 - Two Events Save the Date! Friday, May 2 – Two Events: JB Quimby’s and MCC Rock ‘n Roll Revue!
If you have a few minutes, drop by J.B. Quimby’s on Friday, May 2 @ about 5:15 pm to enjoy the company of your MCC Colleagues. J.B. Quimby’s is in the Win-Jeff Plaza on Winton Road, between Jefferson Road and Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road. Then join in the MCC fun and attend the MCC Rock n Roll Review that will be held in the MCC Theatre at 7:30pm.
Featuring MCC’s Vocal Jazz/Show Choir, “Noonflyte.” Students will perform a wide variety of musical styles from Bluegrass to Broadway.
Some of the featured artists include:
Elvis, The Four Freshmen, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Jr. Walker, Aretha Franklin, Leonard Cohen, Leon Russell, Buddy Holly, Sister Act II and a medley of hits from the Four Seasons. This successful group from Newark, New Jersey has seen their hits and life stories turned into a successful Broadway musical called, “Jersey Boys.”
