New Articulation Agreement


MCC signs Articulation Agreement with North Carolina A & T State University

Monroe Community College is proud to announce the signing of an Articulation Agreement with North Carolina A & T State University and its College of Engineering.  NCA&T,  an Historically Black University, is located in Greensboro, North Carolina and is recognized nationally for its Engineering degree programs.  The agreement, utilizing MCC’s Engineering Science program, stipulates the courses students would take for junior level transfer to NCA&T’s various Engineering program majors including:   Architectural Engineering, Biological Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with the Aerospace option. Bertram Gamory, Chair of MCC’s Engineering Science and Physics Department, who worked from the beginning on establishing this relationship, expressed his deep satisfaction on accomplishing this agreement.  Joan Moorehead, an  MCC Admissions Counselor also gave considerable time and energy toward the completion of this agreement.
