Johnnetta B. Cole, Ph.D., to Speak on Diversity


Johnnetta B. Cole, Ph.D., African American pioneer in higher education, will speak on “The Power of Diversity” on Friday, Nov. 4, College Hour, in the MCC Theater, Bldg. 4. Cole serves as president of Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, N.C. and as chair of the United Way of America Board of Trustees.

Her presentation, hosted by the Diversity Council, will launch the Alice Holloway Young, Ed.D. Diversity Series. The series aims to celebrate and explore issues of diversity at the college and may include other events such art exhibits and musical and performing arts performances in upcoming years.
