Congratulations to the Nursing Department!

Provost and Vice President Dr. Andrea Wade also extended her congratulations in a related article.

The Nursing Schools Almanac has named MCC's Nursing Department as one of the best Associate's Degree Nursing programs in New York State at 12th of 68.  This is based on the program achieving a 92.2% NCLEX-RN first-time passing rate while graduating an average of 122 students per year over the past 10 years.

The pathway for students to achieve an Associates Degree in Nursing is long, and many so many people college-wide help students along the way: Admissions Counselors, Schools Specialists, Advisement Counselors, Faculty Advisors, and instructors of science, math, and general education courses all played their parts in preparing students to enter MCC's competitive Nursing Program.  MCC's talented and hard-working Nursing Department then has two years to turn good students into confident, knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled nurses to serve our community.  Please join me in congratulating the Nursing Department on this recognition of student success.
