New Enhancement Allows for Quick-Checks on MCC Network Status

ETS was busy over the summer making many necessary upgrades to ensure a better, more technology-rich year for our students, faculty, and staff.  One of our enhancements is a Systems Status Notification page (<<https://www.monroecc.edu/go/status>>).  This new service allows MCC users to check the status of MCC’s major systems to see if an application or service is down, running slow or being worked on.  The page also provides information on when the issue is expected to be resolved.  MCC has 150 servers running over 500 applications on the MCC network and so, in spite of our best efforts, it is inevitable that an application or system could be running slow or be down.  The new Systems Status Notification page provides easy access to all MCC users (faculty/staff and students) to monitor the operational status of critical applications.

Bottom line - if you notice an application is running slow or the Internet seems to be down, or have any other issue or concern about an MCC application or service, you can check the Systems Status Notification web page to find out what the problem is and when it is expected to be resolved.   If you notice any applications issues that are not posted on the Systems Status Notification web page, please contact the Help Desk (x4357) immediately to report the issue.

ETS appreciates and welcomes the input and feedback from our users to ensure the swiftest resolution to any technical issues we may experience.  Please bookmark this page and check it often to see how our systems are performing.
