A reminder that MCC will join in promoting sustainability as a sponsor and exhibitor at Greentopia 2012, a weeklong celebration (Sept. 10-16) in the High Falls district dedicated to sustainable living through art, music, organic and locally grown food and beverages, ideas and activism.
Be sure to visit MCC"s booth on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15-16.
The expanded event will contain four programmatic aspects:
Greentopia INNOVATION, a conference in which speakers from across the nation will present the latest innovations in business practices, sustainability and technology.
Greentopia FILM, representing the work of a diverse group of independent filmmakers.
Greentopia "MUSIC, featuring local and national artists including the world-renowned Ying Quartet.
Greentopia ECOFEST. offering a wide variety of things to see and do including a farmer's market, how-to workshops, an alternative fuel vehicle show, a kids' zone, and a fashion show featuring garments made from recycled and upcycled materials.
The mission of Greentopia is to celebrate, educate and promote sustainability in all its forms, for better living, stronger communities and a healthier planet.
