Dr. Emeterio M. Otero, Executive Dean of the Damon City Campus, was the guest speaker at the 35th Annual Induction Ceremony of Sigma Delta Pi at Nazareth College. His address, “Spanish: No Longer a Foreign Language”, was presented to eight inductees and their guests on Friday, April 1. Membership in Sigma Delta Pi represents membership in the National Spanish Honor Society, the largest foreign language society in the world. “The society’s purpose is to honor those who seek and attain excellence in the study of language … and the literature and culture of the Spanish-speaking people.”
