On-location Course and Trip to Italy: Deadline Approaching


The last day to enroll in the Grand Tour of Italy organized by the ESOL & Foreign Languages Department is December 16, 2011. Don’t miss this great opportunity.

DATES: April 5 to April 14, 2012 (Spring Recess)

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS: Venice, Florence, Assisi, Pompeii, Sorrento and Rome. Optional extensions to Pisa and Capri available.   

COST: $ 3,400 including all taxes and departure fees.

VISITS: Guided city tours plus entrance to the Doges Palace in Venice, the Duomo in Florence, the Basilica of St. Francis in Assisi, the Roman Ruins in Pompeii, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, the Colosseum and the Forum in Rome. The itinerary focuses on history, art and culture, and provides free time for personal sightseeing. 

PRICE INCLUDES:           
Round-trip airfare from Rochester, 8 overnight stays in hotels with private facilities, European breakfast daily and 5 dinners, entrance to many museums and historical sites, sightseeing tours with professional local guides and full-time bilingual Tour Director.

Participants also must enroll in ITA 221 – Italian Culture On Location (3 hrs., credit or audit, no prerequisites) in the Spring Semester 2012.The registration fee and all inclusive insurance coverage (medical, cancellation, baggage loss) are included in the price quoted above.
