The Diversity & Community Studies Film Series at DCC is hosting a critical discussion, titled “Toddlers & Tiaras: Popular Culture and/or Pedophilia Culture?” We will show clips from this popular television show and discuss whether children’s beauty contests are just healthy competition or another example of the sexualization of children in the U.S.
