The National Hispanic Heritage Month is just around the corner: September 15th through October 15th. The MCC PLUS (Professional Latinos United for Success) group has been busy planning events and activities for the Hispanic Heritage month to highlight Latino art, music, and publications. We are excited about these activities and events and hope to inspire you to join us.
One of the goals of PLUS is to have a 2011 MCC Hispanic Heritage Month calendar of events published during the first week in September. If you or your department will be sponsoring or hosting an event or activity, we would like to include it in the calendar. The information must be received by Friday, August 26, 2011 so that it can be included in the calendar.
