MCC Presentations at the SLN SOL Summit


Several members of the MCC Instructional Technologies staff presented at the 12th annual SUNY Learning Network Online Learning (SOL) Summit for online instructional designers and directors of online learning held in Syracuse from March 9-11, 2011. The presentations, listed below, were well received and contributed to a successful conference.

ANGEL as an Option for Emergency Planning – Mary Hallett-Brown, Training/Instructional Development Specialist, presented on the strategies developed, changes in administrative procedures, the development of a new ANGEL faculty training track, and the use of ANGEL repositories and master courses to support teaching and learning during an emergency such as the H1N1 virus.

Panel: Best Practices DL Policies, Panel: Practices in Online/Distance Learning Leadership - Terry Keys, Assistant VP for Instructional Technology participated in these two panel discussions.
