Dr. Emeterio M. Otero, Executive Dean of the Damon City Campus, participated in a panel entitled “Community Activism: Then, Now & Tomorrow” as part of the United Way’s 2009 Latino Leadership Development Program. The program’s mission is ” to identify, train, and promote the placement of Latinos in policy-making positions of community organizations in order to ensure these organizations are tapping the full potential of the Latino community”.
