IDE 102 Visits Iconic Home in Buffalo

This is not only the end of the semester, but the last offering of IDE 102, as the interior design program at MCC winds down, with only 2 semesters to go. With a desire to culminate the semester with something special, students traveled to Buffalo for a tour of the Darwin Martin House designed by iconic American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Known for his Prarie style architecture, this home stands alone in its primarily traditional neighborhood.  Students were able to tour the inside, learn about the unique features and see the furniture, tile and other elements all designed by Wright.  This home is a treasure of history in our area.
