Weight Watchers "At Work" Sessions


When I began Weight Watchers in February of 2011, I was very disgusted with myself and knew I had to do something to become healthy and lose a large amount of weight that had crept up on me.  I had constant pain in my back and feet.  I was convinced that the only way to lose weight would be to starve or never eat some of my favorite foods again -- I wasn’t willing to do either.  I watched several people who were successfully losing weight with Weight Watchers and saw the positive results of their weight loss.  I was encouraged by them because they swore they were not hungry or missing out on their favorite foods.  I asked some questions and finally decided to give it a try.  I have lost more than 32 pounds since I began my journey in February of 2011.  While I still have a ways to go, for the first time in my life, I feel like my goal is attainable and I have the necessary tools to accomplish my goal.  I feel so much better, my back and feet are not hurting me and I have so much more energy.  Not to mention the other health benefits that I know I am also receiving as a result of losing weight.  I highly encourage anyone who is considering a weight loss plan to check out our “At work” Weight Watchers group. 

Some interesting facts about Weight Watchers:

* Weight Watchers was rated the #1 best plan for weight loss by U.S. News and World Report.
* Those who use Weight Watchers are more apt to keep the weight off than if they use another plan.

An informational meeting is scheduled for January 31st at 1:00 pm in room 10-158.  If you are not able to attend the informational meeting, you may still join our “At Work” Weight Watchers sessions.  Please see attachment which provides information about how to join.

We need a minimum of 20 people to join in order to begin our sessions and an average of 12 people per week in each session.  You may join at any time.  So, if you aren’t quite ready, but are still thinking about it, you can join us when you are ready.  Your membership will continue for 30 days and you will have the opportunity to continue at the end of the 30 days.  I am available to answer questions if you have questions.  Let’s begin a journey towards a healthier 2012!
