Online Teaching Discussion Group: ADA Compliance, Copyright Laws, and Making OERs Accessible

As you begin thinking about and preparing your spring courses, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Are you confident that your courses are ADA compliant?
  • Are you concerned about copyright laws and fair use practices?
  • Are you planning on designing OER and wondering how to make sure it is accessible?
  • Would you like to know more about these topics?

If you answered "yes" to one or more of the questions, consider attending our next Online Teaching Discussion Group (even if you don't teach online). These topics were very popular at the last Virtual Campus Summer Institute and compliance in these areas is important for all faculty. So we have asked our presenters from the summer institute, Stephanie Lee (Services for Students with Disabilities) and Anjali Parasnis-Samar (Library), to give encore presentations on these topics on November 30th from 3-4pm in 3-122. Please RSVP at https://bit.ly/vctccdiscussion
