Downtown Campus Sign Garners Front-page Coverage

An article in Rochester Business Journal's Oct. 4 issue draws attention to the Downtown Campus' rooftop sign. Vice President Simmons was interviewed about the thought process behind the design and placement of the sign, which is visible from neighboring Frontier Field and I-490.

"All the camera angles were always from the left field line (with the MCC campus building in the background) and I thought, 'This is a place to put our sign.' I knew it would be seen from the ball park and in highlights on television."

Simmons added, "People here at the campus love it because it has such an impact on downtown. That impact, that is the biggest plus for this sign."
