The Sixth Act, MCC's new drama initiative, in pleased to announce that its next workshop will be Thursday, February 10, from 4-5:30 pm, in the Black Box Theater (Building 4 Room 145).
This workshop, titled “‘Unpack My Heart With Words’: Using Dramatic Techniques to Understand Shakespeare’s Language,” will help students, teachers, and drama enthusiasts explore the relationship between Shakespeare's language as written and Shakespeare's language in performance.
The workshop, as always, is free and open to the public—please tell your colleagues, your friends, your students. Together, we will explore a variety of performance-specific techniques that can guide all of us to a new and more potent relationship with the language of The Bard.
