Social Security Benefits and Achieving Financial Independence through Voluntary Retirement Savings

The College is pleased to host a workshop on Social Security benefits and voluntary retirement savings accounts. Learn how to participate in SUNY's tax-deferred retirement savings program. This is a way to save extra money so you can achieve financial independence in retirement. The presentation is for ALL ages!

• Understand the importance of Social Security in your savings plan
• Take the steps you need to maximize your claiming strategy
• Plan for your retirement income

Our MCC representatives, Bill Stark and Mark Wallace will present information regarding the use of 403b and 457 accounts for pre-tax and Roth retirement savings.

Where: Brighton Campus - Empire Room (3-209)

When: Thursday, March 28th

Time: Noon and again at 1:00pm
