Rochester Business Journal Selects President Burt-Nanna as a Women of Excellence Honoree

Congratulations to MCC President Dr. DeAnna R. Burt-Nanna who is among the women selected as recipients of the Rochester Business Journal’s 2022 Women of Excellence awards. Honorees were officially announced on April 1.

The Women of Excellence awards recognize high-achieving women for their career accomplishments including professional experience, community involvement, leadership and sustained commitment to mentoring. The winners were selected by a panel of judges comprised of previous Circle of Excellence honorees.

According to Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, senior group publisher of the Rochester Business Journal, “This year’s Women of Excellence honorees are leading companies, creating change, breaking barriers, charting new territory, inspiring future generations and making a difference at home, at work and in their communities. They are inspirational.”

In addition, eight women will be inducted into the Circle of Excellence. The Circle of Excellence recognizes women of longstanding, notable success in the community who are leading the way for other women. These honorees were selected by Rochester Business Journal editors from among previous Women of Excellence winners.

The winners will be honored at a celebration on Tuesday evening, May 24 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Winners will be profiled in a special magazine that will be inserted into the May 27 issue of Rochester Business Journal. The profiles will also be available online at rbj.net.
