Attention: Housing & Residence Life is moving!

The Department of Housing & Residence Life  will be moving on Friday, May 18, 2007 from 3-120 to 1-108 (formerly the PARC office-PARC will relocate to 3-120 later this month).  The department has undergone significant growth since being established in 2003.  The department began with an Area Coordinator, 2 Resident Directors, 9 Resident Assistants and an Administrative Assistant servicing 410 residents.  Next year the department will grow to include a Director, Assistant Director, 5 Resident Directors, 16-20 Resident Assistants, Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, and an Office Clerk servicing 772 students (and a partridge in a pear tree)!

So contrary to popular belief, the department is not hoarding boxes to begin building a club house.  Please stop sending in petitions for membership.  We know we are pretty cool and you want to be a part of the "Kool Kidz" club but we are currently full.  We are in the market for a theme song.  Please send your audition tapes with contact information.  The mess in the office is also not a part of any major spring cleaning effort.  However, in the process we did find several dust bunnies that were properly tagged by the authorities as a part of a "catch and release" program so that we can track their growth in our new environment.  We did notice some dust wolves lurking around which may place the bunnies at risk.  There is not much we can do about that.  It's the "circle of life".  And it moves us all.  Through despair and hope, through faith and love.  Till we find our place, on the path unwinding.  In the circle, the circle of life.  Whoa!  Talk about your tangent.

OK.  So let's recap.

Housing & Residence Life will be located in 1-108 as of Friday, May 18, 2007
