Be a Good Neighbor and Park in MCC Parking Lots

MCC is fortunate to have Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex as our neighbor.  The Iceplex provides MCC students and employees with a convenient location to go ice skating, play hockey and participate in numerous Iceplex-sponsored concerts and activities throughout the year.

Some MCC students and employees elect to park in Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex parking lot while attending classes and events at MCC.  Unfortunately, this practice limits the number of spaces available for Iceplex customers.  MCC Public Safety requests that you please respect our neighbor’s property and do not park at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex unless you are actually visiting the Iceplex or have special permission to park at that location.

Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex is a business.  It is not part of the MCC campus.  The owners of the Iceplex do not choose to tow vehicles owned by MCC students and employees, but may do so if the vehicle is parked on Iceplex property without authorization.

They have recently installed the following signs on their property:

AUTHORIZED PARKING ONLY

Unauthorized vehicles will be towed to 12 Corners Towing (585) 473-5000

Minimum tow fee: $50

Short-term parking meters are available on a limited basis on the Arts/ Residence Lane adjacent to the Communications /Theatre Building, Bldg. 4. Meters are $.50 per hour with a maximum time of 2 hours.

Pay-by-Plate Stations are conveniently located at the entrances to the Communications/Theatre Building, Bldg. 4 and the Samuel J. Stabins Physical Education Complex/PAC Center, Bldg. 10. (They look like stand-alone ATM machines). Students and visitors now have the option of using their license plate number and paying $5 for an entire day of parking.
