LibKey Nomad: Find Full-Text Articles Faster!

Have you ever found an article citation in Google Scholar, Wikipedia, or Pubmed. and wondered if the library had full-text access to the article? Or perhaps you hit a paywall on a publisher website when researching online trying to connect to an article. LibKey Nomad can help connect you to these articles!

What is LibKey Nomad?
LibKey Nomad is a web browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) that avoids paywalls and quickly connects you to full-text articles available on open access publisher websites and in library databases such as:

  • Ebscohost article databases
  • ScienceDirect
  • New England Journal of Medicine

LibKey Nomad buttons also appear in:

  • PubMed
  • Wikipedia

Subjects: All. Great for any research, especially health and medicine.

Install: Simply install the LibKey Nomad extension for your appropriate web browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) and then select Monroe Community College as your institution.

Detailed instructions about installing LibKey Nomad and using it can be found in the Browzine and LibKey at MCC Libraries guide.

Questions about LibKey Nomad can be directed to Pam Czaja, Web Services Librarian, MCC Libraries, pczaja@monroecc.edu.
