MCC Science Students Complete Undergraduate Summer Research Program


Congratulations to the eight Monroe Community College Science Students who successfully completed a five week, Bridges to the Baccalaureate, undergraduate summer research program at SUNY Binghamton on June 28th, 2013. The students: Nyssa Clausell, Andrea Erazo, Carlos Gallegos, Samuel Hagos, Joseph Hennig, Tyrel Hull and Carlos Pena, applied for and were accepted into an individual, five week, research project in the lab of a SUNY Binghamton faculty member they had selected. The MCC students, as well as, students from Onondaga Community College and Westchester Community College presented their research findings at the Annual Bridges to the Baccalaureate Summer Research Poster Session at SUNY Binghamton. The Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program is an NIH funded undergraduate research opportunity for MCC science students to complete research at SUNY Binghamton.
