News from the MCC Board of Trustees Meeting
The MCC Board of Trustees held its meeting in High Falls A/B on the Downtown Campus on Monday, March 4, 2019 and took the following actions:
- Accepted the Interim Financial Report as of January 31, 2019.
- Authorized the purchase of items over $20,000 as listed for the month of January 2019.
- Adopted the revised "4.7 Consensual Relationships Policy" in compliance with SUNY policy effective March 4, 2019. The policy will be included on the policy web page
- Adopted the "Credit/Contact Hour Policy" effective March 4, 2019. The policy will be included on the policy web page
- Approved the reappointment of Non-Contract, Professional Staff, Faculty, and Technical Assistants/Advisors as listed at the ranks and titles indicated for the 2019-2020 academic year or, for 12 month employees, beginning September 1, 2019 and ending August 31, 2020.
- Approved the promotion of Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Instructors effective September 1, 2019. (See related MCC Daily Tribune article.
- Conducted an Executive Session pursuant to Public Officers Law §105, subsection (e): collective negotiations pursuant to Article 14 of the Civil Service Law.

- President Anne M. Kress on college activities.
- Associate Vice President, Enrollment Management Christine Casalinuovo-Adams on enrollment activities.
- Shared Governance groups (Amanda Colosimo for Faculty Senate; Alec Waight-Morabito for Student Government Association; and Stephanie Guilin for Student Events & Governance Association).
- MCC Foundation Executive Director Gretchen Wood on Foundation activities.
