Renaissance Square Architect Meets with MCC Leaders, Design Team


Renaissance Square architect Moshe Safdie visited with the DCC Facilities Design Committee and college leaders on Tuesday, Sept. 27 to review early designs of MCC’s new downtown campus. The discussion touched on classroom design needs, a proposed “campus green,” accessibility, safety, and office and meeting room spaces.

Input from the college community is welcome. Ideas should be shared with any member of the DCC Design Steering Committee:

The next public workshop on the Renaissance Square project is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Oct. 25 at the Riverside Convention Center. Input on all three components of Renaissance Square – the MCC campus, performing arts center and transit center – are welcome at this workshop.
