Five MCC Science Students Complete Bridges Summer Research Program at Binghamton University


Five MCC Science Students completed a five-week, undergraduate research opportunity on the Binghamton University campus and presented their undergraduate research results at the Annual Bridges Binghamton Student Poster Session on June 27, 2014. The students included: Smith Agyingi  presenting “Pathogenicity of Staphylococcus aureus on Caenorhabitis elegans,” Diwas Biswa presenting “Social Learning in 2-Dimensional Context in 2 & 3 Dimensions,” Ana Cartaya presenting “Synthesis of Polyamic Acid Stabilized Palladium Nanoparticles,” Tumininu Faniyan presenting “Synthesis of Novel Fluorescent PNA for Imaging & Recognition of Double Stranded RNA,” and Gbassey Oteme presenting “Tracking the Mind’s Eye: A Prototype Human Computer Interpretation Device for Computer Control by Paralyzed Patients.”
