Under the leadership of MCC alumnus Michael McDermott '12 and for the second year in a row, the MCC Toastmasters Club recently earned a President's Distinguished award from Toastmasters International. To achieve the award, members and officers of the club met 9 of the 10 success requirements during the past Toastmasters year. Congratulations to the members!
If you are looking for a fun way to build your public speaking and leadership skills while meeting other members of the college family (employees, alumni and students), then please come and observe a meeting. The club's next meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 10 from 5 to 6:15 pm in the Gilman Lounge, Flynn Campus Center. We hope to see you there!
