Rochester AmeriCorps is currently recruiting qualified applicants for the 2013-2014 service term!
Graduating this term? Looking for your next big adventure? Motivated and committed to providing service in our community? Interested in receiving hands-on training and experience? Need some financial assistance paying student loans or paying for college in the future? Rochester AmeriCorps could be for you!
In exchange for one year of full-time service, members receive specialized training, a bi-weekly living allowance of $484, and (if eligible) individual medical coverage, a child-care subsidy, and student loan forbearance. Members receive an education award of $5,550 upon successful completion of all program requirements.
The 2013-14 service term begins Sept. 9, 2013 and extends through Aug. 24, 2014. Accepted members commit to a full year of service and are placed at educational organizations and institutions where they will contribute to the improvement of the academic engagement of our community’s youth.
