The Student Services Staff Development Committee would like to extend an invitation to all MCC faculty and staff to attend "TECHBUSTERS: An Expo of Techno." This expo will showcase some of the latest technology and gadgets that are taking college campuses and the world by storm. The expo takes place on Tuesday, April 17th from 12-3 pm in Monroe A & B of the Warshof Conference Center. Feel free to come for 30 minutes, an hour...THREE HOURS! The choice is yours. Find the time that fits your schedule and come and go as you please. Keep reading to find out what's in store for you at the expo.
Best Buy and the Geek Squad will be on location to allow hands-on time with many items right off their shelves. They will also help you to learn more about the items. Best Buy and the Geek Squad will also assist you in figuring out what is right for you and your needs and provide consumer insight on purchases.
Additionally, MCC ETS will be on site providing previews of the trainings they offer in their "Just in Time" and "Bring IT to Your Department" technology training programs. There will be training modules on display and information about how to sign up for full trainings in the future for you or your entire department.
