Webinar - ACE Application Process and Information Session

The Curriculum and Program Development Office invites anyone interested to sign up for an informational webinar on the American Council on Education’s (ACE) At Home in the World: Educating for Global Connections and Local Commitments, an exciting new project funded by the Henry Luce Foundation. The webinar will be held on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. and will answer questions about the initiative and the application process.

ACE is selecting eight institutions to form a learning community and advance the national dialogue on collaboration between internationalization and diversity/multicultural education efforts on campus over the next several years.

Team leaders from the selected institutions will engage with one another and an ACE project team through campus visits, learning community meetings in Washington, DC, regular consultations, and a culminating national conference. Campus teams will facilitate broad dialogues on shared goals and collaboratively develop and begin to implement an action plan.

The application deadline is June 1, 2011. Please
visit ACE's website to learn more about the initiative.

To reserve a seat at this event, please contact Melissa Burley at <
mailto:mburley@monroecc.edu> or at Ext. 2221. Recorded content from the session will be available for complementary download after the event for those unable to attend.
