Christie Smith, Admissions Counselor, and Amber Jackson, Admissions Peer Ambassador presented a session called “Developing Student Leaders in the Freshman Year” at the Student Leaders in Admissions Forum at the University at Albany on Saturday, September 12th, 2015. The topic focused on leadership development techniques that can be used to transform new college students into successful student leaders. It should be noted that MCC was the only Community College represented.
The event was hosted by The New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYACAC).
