Optics Program to offer MRF Workshop During Intersession

MCC’s Optical Systems Technology program is offering its first Magnetorheological Finishing Workshop, January 4-20, 2022, in the new Optics Advanced Manufacturing Lab, on the Brighton Campus.

The 40-hour workshop will be conducted over three weeks, three days per week, 4.5 hours per day.

•            Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

•            January 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, & 20

Cost is $1,630 per participant; funding opportunities are available for qualifying applicants.

The workshop is limited to 10 participants who have the prerequisite skills, as outlined in the attached flyer.
