The Teaching & Creativity Center’s Annual Teaching & Learning Conference is Thursday, June 12th in Brighton Campus's Warshof Conference Center Monroe A/B.
The event begins at 12 p.m. with lunch, followed by an interactive workshop presented by Stephen Brookfield, author of "Teaching for Critical Thinking."
Immediately following Brookfield’s presentation we will have breakout sessions. You’ll have the opportunity to join others who teach similar skills or content to brainstorm and build useable strategies to engage critical thinking in your classroom. Sessions will be led by facilitators with experience in related disciplines and will be hands-on! The conference will conclude at 4pm.
