John Perrone, the Director of the Homeland Security Management Institute and retired Army Colonel was the featured guest speaker at the 65th Gala Anniversary of the Veterans of Foreign War Post in Fairport, New York on Saturday evening. The Post is one of the largest in Western New York.
His presentation discussed the importance and need of hiring veterans and assisting them with their transition from military to civilian life. His remarks also included a presentation on MCC’s efforts to assist veterans as well as the status of Homeland Security a decade after 911. COL Perrone (ret) is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
