What do your students learn about their learning from your test-taking process?

Helping Students Learn How to Learn from Testing

“I study for hours but fail every test.”

“The stuff I study is never on the test.”

“I do better when I don’t study.”

Sound familiar?  The TCC invites you to join colleagues in a conversation based on this year’s theme, Helping Students Learn How to Learn. Gena Merliss (ESOL/TRS) will, together with participants, examine how students can develop metacognitive awareness and practices through test taking. Gena and Jackie Dorsey (Nursing) will share cross-disciplinary strategies that can successfully engage students in the testing process. Bring your questions and ideas to this rich discussion!
