MCC Daily Tribune

Greetings of Gratitude

Thank you notes from across the campus continue to roll-in. The link is still open, so please submit your thank you here!!!

Eileen Radigan, Department Chair, Education and Human Services: "Eileen Radigan has been nothing but a caring and supportive Department Chair through this very crazy and ever-changing time. She checks in with her department via email, phone calls, and texts to make sure we are all doing ok, and to find out if we need anything that she can help with. Even though messages changed from MCC Administration daily (based on information from the President and Governor), Eileen kept tabs on us all to communicate the latest information she had, and to verify and clarify any questions we had. She did this along with trying to transfer her own courses to on-line and home school her two young children. MCC is very lucky to have her as a leader for today and for the future. I am proud to have Eileen as my boss and the leader of our Education and Human Services Department."

Lori Judd, Professor of Mathematics and Curriculum team member was nominated by a number of her co-workers: "We would like the time to thank Lori Judd for her deep desire to help faculty and staff with the many curriculum proposals she is faced with. Lori goes above and beyond to help faculty make sure that every proposal is looked over and prepared to move on to the curriculum committee and furthermore. She goes above and beyond by taking time over her valuable weekends to make the needed edits and opens her office before and after college hours to help staff with any curriculum issue. She has gone even further to talk to many of us about our courses and programs while on her vacations in Florida. By doing this, Lori is giving our faculty and staff the best chance to deliver sound rigorous academic programming for our students, the main reason she does what she does. On top of being an invaluable asset to the curriculum committee, she is also teaching in the Math department as well. The college is fortunate to have Lori and the Division of Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services would like to give her a big THANK YOU for all she does for us!"

Steve Palmer and Andrea Gilbert, Steve is a School Specialist and Andrea is in Instructional Technologies. A very grateful business faculty member noted that, "Between them, Steve and Andrea spent lots of time with me shoring up my knowledge of Zoom, exploring various features with me to uncover Zoom's full capabilities , assuaging my angst about learning a new program on which I would be totally reliant to teach my courses, and doing it all in their signature calm and generous way. I am very grateful."
