According to a study by the Century Foundation, almost 5,000 African-American and Hispanic students would be shut out of the country's 146 most selective colleges if the institutions were no longer allowed to use affirmative action in admissions and relied only on grades and test scores. COLLABORATIVE TEACHING, COLLABORATIVE LEARNING
Expanding communities of writing teachers and students across institutional boundaries is the aim of a collaborative writing project that has brought together four colleagues from three institutions of higher education in Tennessee.
